Army Public School Teacher posts:

The Army Public Schools (APS) have been constituted to educate the children of the armed forces who are constantly working in national security. The Administrative Welfare Education Society (ADES) oversees the responsibility of the management of these schools with CBSE identification through the local military authorities. At present, there are 137 Army Public Schools in the range of different containments and military stations across the country. Of these, 1,000 notices (PG / TG ​​/ PTT) were issued with a fresh notification.

Post Details:

There are three types of vacancies to be filled in APS, Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and PRT.

PGT – Subjects: English, Hindi, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotech, Psychology, Commerce, Computer Science Informatics, Home Science, Physical Education.
TGT- Subjects: English, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Political Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

Qualifications:

PG and BED with at least 50 percent marks in the relevant department for post posts; Graduation with minimum 50% marks for TGT posts; PGT posts must have at least 50% marks with Graduation along with BED or two years Diploma. CTET / TET qualification is mandatory for selecting TGT / PTR posts

Note: TGT / PRT have all other qualifications and do not have a TET / CTET score. They are appointed on a ‘temporary’ basis until they have passed the exam.

BE / BTech in Computer Science / IT / Computer Engineering / Electronics / Electronics & Communications for Computer Science Informatics Post. (Or) MCA / MSC (Computer Science / IT). (Or) M.Sc. + B.Sc. in Computer Science / BCA / Computer Engineering / IT in Mathematics / Physics / Statistics with a three year Diploma / PGDDA. (Or) B level from the DOEACC. No BED is required.

Age Limit:

57 years for those with at least five years of teaching experience as of April 1, 2018 and 40 years for the remaining candidates. (For PGT Posts in Delhi Schools 36 years, PRT / TGT posts should be under 29 years).

Selection Process:

Stage-1 .. Combined Selection Screening Examination (CSSE);

Stage-2 .. Interviews;

Stage-3 .. Evaluation of Teaching Skills and Computer Profession.

Exam centers: Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh.

Last date for online application: 2017, 5 pm to 21st December.

Exam date: 2018, January 15-17.

Mac tests are available on www.aps-csb.in. These can be written for online test practice by 2018, from January 2 to 10.

Results of the Exam: 2018, January 27.

Follow-up: Those who pass the test must look at the AWES website for teacher posts in army schools. The candidates who have received the score card must wait for a special notification issued by the school management that they want to teach. Applications should be sent to those schools after posting advertisements to teacher posts.
